For you NE guys, how's the Douglas unit holding up. Heading over in 3 weeks for an OIL hunt. Havn't been over there in a month or so and I see some spot fires have shown up on the map. PM's ok. Thnx.

Still some fire and smoke but looking pretty clear for now. Weather is cooler and a little rain helped.
There seem to be a couple animals still around....lol

The Douglas unit didn't get hit too hard in the majority of the unit.  Williams fire over the 4th of July and the Pingston fire in early August, but those are at the very south end of the unit and with the wet weather we have had in the last week, I don't think that we will get any more of great size.....keeping my fingers crossed.

It was very wet and cold up in there this weekend.  Hard to imagine anything burning but I know some areas will dry out.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I got to see a paddle off a bull from this year that is estimated 65" wide from the 108 unit..its the biggest paddle I have ever seen. Found this year and should be around.
