After a harrowing incident of an arrow from my neighbor hitting my slider, we decided not to shoot in our back yards anymore, I was heading out the other day to finalize my Archery setup for elk. When I get to a good place to shoot next to some reprod and timber I see a nice buck standing down the hill looking at me. I have a multi season deer tag so I can actually shoot him if I wanted. Young deer and still in velvet but antlers about 2x higher than ears. Didn't even have broadheads on arrows yet: the purpose of the trip to be honest. What are the odds...
Maybe it's a good sign for the season.
