This is good stuff. Bildo is full of it, always has been but he's also proven he kills better than a lot of guys on this forum so...  :dunno:

I do get a kick out of his reply always being "ask my dad, he does it too"

He's doing something right though, I guess
Sad this is I'm not full of it.. But think what u want.. U say the same thing every year  :dunno: :chuckle:

This thread is too funny. Anyone ever had a friend who caught a 10 inch fish and then slowly over time the catch became the moby dick of the lake. Maybe he is bending the truth a little. Perhaps maybe he is bending the truth to get underneath peoples skin. One thing is for sure Bildo has succeeded in finding drama. So what if he killed the buck at 90 yards and it was a frontal shot. That's his business.
Maybe he is Olympic bow shooter  :dunno: and takes that shot every day. Either way who cares. Hats of to you sir! What a monster of a buck!  8)

Meh, I'd be jealous of plenty others first  :chuckle:

I get a rush from close shots, I'm a sucker for broadside and relaxed deer.

So I hear a lot of debate on how long you should shoot. I have my own comfort levels and stick to them. I know an archer can easily screw up a long shot with the smallest little error. But I also know an animal can jump the string up close causing for a bad shot too. So with that said bildo can I just have an honest answer since I know that you guys do take longer shots. how many animals you've lost in say the last 5 years bow hunting?
For me and keeping my shots under 40 in the field on deer I can say I have had one blacktail jump the string which I didn't recover years ago. Chip shot at 18 yards. In the field anything can happen. So that is my honest experience.

You should answer his question...  :twocents:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

DUDE, I know about the Envy, I shot Elites before they even hit the market when they were Raw proto types. Right from Kevins hands. (Kevin, being Kevin Strother the guy who started Elite, Strother, K&K, Designed for Blue Mountain Archery, Bowtech, now designs for Obsession & Xpedition. Also owns the arrow flight record) Just FYI..

You keep saying all this crap of ask my daddy, oh ask the guy at skookum ECT ECT........ What guy?? Why cant you tell us the specs of your FASTEST ENVY IN THE WORLD BOW????? Why? Cause your full of *censored*!!!

I dont give 2 *censored*s about how succesful you are. I have been every bit as succesful as you since I started archery hunting. 14 bucks in 15 years and the one year I only hunted one weekend.  I hunt all wide open wheat field country and my kills all average over 60 yards.  I know the need to stretch the yardage in this country but I (DONT need to stretch the truth or take bad shot angles)

I feel I made a valid point about close mishaps versus long mishaps. Close they can jump the string. Long they can take one step to feed or whatever causing a far back hit. All situations can be looked at differently.
I was just looking for a answer on success ratio versus failure to show people valid points.
Like me for example. I've shot at 4 deer. Lost one. Because it jumped the string at 18 yards. Close simple chip shot with a failure in the end.
Shot two elk. Got both.
I felt my question was a simple question that could be answered but appears not.
Congrats on the great animals you have harvested over the past few years.
