wanting to borrow a decent backcountry pack
« on: September 11, 2015, 06:22:38 PM »
Well this might just be a shot in the dark but is anyone willing to let me borrow a decent light back countrypack probably atleast 5000 ci.  I can let you hold something in collateral.  I was not planning to go on a high hunt but now i am and couldnt order a sitka pack in tine they are out of stock.  I get 40% military discount thats why i have used sitka a lot.  Any offers would be really appreciated.  Never really backcountry hunted so i dont know if i like external or internal.

Thanks
Ted

Depending on what your definition of "decent" and "light" is, I have a pack you could borrow.  Actually, I have two, one is medium sized and one could carry Sasquatch without bending his legs.  Both are older, non-camo, backpacking style internal frames.  The smaller one is turquoise and the larger is purple (don't judge, clearance sales are a beautiful thing).

Many on this board have helped me and I'll pass it on if I can.  I'm in Arlington and the only thing I would ask is that you return it clean.
