Nile meats just east of the 12 and 410 junction, I think squaw rock has coolers too.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

There is one right off the Hwy near Naches in a campground, you might talk to them and see what they charge  :dunno:

:yeah:
Squaw Rock had one last year when I was hunting and they are fairly cheap.

Nile valley meats is the closest full service butcher and makes exceptional jerky. Larry can be an ass but Barb is a sweetheart. Larry has his good days and bad days but he is a decent guy. I take several animals a year to them. Moose will be going there this year  :IBCOOL:

I camp at Squaw Rock. It's got a walk in cooler. I think it was $15 a day if I remember.

For the love of god people, stay away from slims!  Do it for your family!

Taken several elk to Larry over the years. Always good job. He speaks his mind.
If you are a guy that likes to drag your meat through the dirt, leave the hide on all day in 60 degree weather you are not going to like him.
I have seen him climb in the back of a truck and tell guys their elk is spoiled. He won't take it.
But if you take good care of it and deliver him a well cared for carcass he will do right by you.
Gave us his cell number told us to call him if we got something down after hours ,he would come down and hang it in the cooler for us.

He gets real busy so cooler space can be at a premium . Since he moved out of town he has a larger cooler now.

Good luck.

We have taken a couple of elk to Larry at Nile Valley Meats.  I must have caught him on good days because he was very nice and helpful.  Barb makes an AWESOME cheddar jalepeno summer sausage!  His business cards and shirts were memorable, at least a few years ago.  They had a big drawing of a bull mounting a cow and the slogan, "Processing your next year's game." or something like that.  haha
