Curious how many people on here hunt 382 considering most of it is private? Anybody been out for archery? or done any scouting?

NOTHING TO SEE HERE.The deer group up on private stay past dark grazing. You go out that way and you will see tons of hunters salivating on the sides of the roads looking at hundreds of nice deer that land owners wont let you hunt.

I hunt it when I get a chance. Haven't been out this year yet. Mostly does and small bucks are what I see. Have seen some nice ones on the private around there.

there are deer around for sure. As the regs now show this unit is a lot of private with very little public. If you dont find permission. Its a pretty tuff hunt. How ever i am out and about a lot and if a guy is archery hunting and looking for a doe. There has been some nice groups on the public ground. Bucks are harder to come by. Not many with a 3rd point this year. If you are willing to get back into some of the public ground a ways. There are a few around but not large numbers. 388 is a much better choice lots of ground but not sure if its closed for fire right now. Havent heard.
