My son-in-laws first archery deer.
« on: September 10, 2015, 07:47:16 PM »
My son-in-law shot his first archery buck and his second deer ever. He married my daughter in Nov. of 13 and my wife and I got him a deer riffle for Christmas that year. Last year he and his dad came over from Port Angeles and they both got their first deer. My son-in-law always wanted to bow hunt so he got himself a nice Hoyt and was able to get a turkey this spring with it and harvested this nice buck last night.  I have 5 daughters and they all have shot some nice deer over the years. It’s so fun to take a great young man under my wing and teach him to hunt. Some men marry for money but my son-in-law married into hunting. He used a Rage Hypodermic on this buck and I'm very impressed on the job it did.

Great buck. Great story. Congrats on a new hunting partner.  And that broad head looks like it performed great.

Congrats to the son-in-law.

That Rage BH did a number on him!  A hole like that will let the air out of them fast!
