2007 Oregon buck. Story to follow if this works!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Cool, Just posted my first pic on this site without Firefighter4607's help! Well I got this deer in the evening on opening day 2007 in Oregon. I glassed him from accross a canyon and had to move fast to get over to him before the end of shooting hrs. Well when I got over there, he saw me about the same time I saw him and he bolted from right to left on a dead leaping run. Well the good Lord helped me with shot placement on this deer, right threw the neck! I used my WBY in 30-06, 150 hornaday hand load.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Yep, Oregon Whitetail. He came from our ranch in Wallowa county. We are seeing many more Whitetails and the Muleys are getting tough to find. :( I like to shoot Muley bucks myself. I shot a lot of Whitetails in Pennsylvania as a kid.
