My hunting partner owns one. I like to shoot it... and shoot it a lot. Seems like I burn through shells just because I can :chuckle: I like the swing on it, I'm just not a semi guy. The only complaint that he has is if you hunt the big C or around sand be religious on the cleaning aspect. I personally like to dump my pump in tar before opening day and not having to worry about it. But I have thought about picking one up - just saying.

I have and shoots well. I shot a few rounds of clays though not out in bad conditions. As mentioned the duck hunters I know who own the say keep clean.

Check out  the beretta xtrema 2 yet? my next auto purchase. I just shot one and like it and easy to srtip and clean.

Go buy it and enjoy it.

Waiting for the Benelli guys to jump in :chuckle:

I own one and love it.  I purchased the 20 gauge for shooting dove and pigeons.  It's been a great gun!  My hunting partner and his son shoot the 12 gauges and do very well with it.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I wasn't gonna jump in and say buy a sbe ii. I'm guessing it's a budget issue. One of the guys I regularly hunt with has an sx3 and likes it. He refuses to shoot my benelli because he's seen everyone else in the blind that tried it end up with one shortly ;)

I shoot a Browning Silver which is basically the same gun and I love it, Had it 7 or 8 years and I has made many trips to Canada, Nebraska, Montana chasing pheasants and Ducks and has never let me down.....No worries this gun is very durable and reliable.....Its never had a hangup accept for the first couple hundred rounds it sometimes wouldnt cycle 1 oz trap shells.........I probably shoot an average of 1000 rounds a year from skeet/ sporting clays and hunting and its a great great gun.

I purchased the xtrema 2 and didn't like it. Effective boat paddle.  I have 3 of the SBEII and love them.  The only reason guys go to the xtrema 2 is they feel the kick is to much.  That's fine, if those boys can't handle recoil from a semi- they also clear out early when the weather gets cold.   :chuckle:
