Would grouse eat bird seed

Got a few grouse in the driveway. And I got some seed too. Just wanna help them out if I can. Since I don't have extra bugs laying around!

They will eat leaves from some plants but I do not think they will eat bit seed, they are probably in your driveway collecting small pieces of gravel for their craw.

Toss some out and see.  I would guess probably not sunflower seeds, but millet and the other larger round ones would likely be eaten.
