The short version, I'm going through a divorce. She pulled some dirty crap, which really screwed up my fall.  I chose my girls over hunting.  This week I had a couple days so I just shot with my camera.  I got some good critters I'll be posting up.  It's comforting to know I still get "to hunt", though it will be limited this fall.   Thanks for the support everyone.

Right choice Bone, absolutely the right choice.

There will always be another deer but you will only get one "shot" at raising your daughters.  There is nothing in this world more important than that IMHO.

Hang in there Bone, You are taking the higher road in caring for the kiddos, did the same here, but different circumstances likely.
Keep up the photos...maybe you need some helpers in the field?  Let the kids see what amazing things are there when you get off the road.  Remember to make it fun and it will produce a bond that will amaze you.

Take care of YOU too...you cant take care of kiddos if you are not right.

And that deer is calendar worthy for sure, he is lucky you are taking the year off, so are your kids. Solid move all the way around.
