Chemult Oregon, what's the interest? Deer or elk?
« on: September 16, 2015, 03:57:12 PM »
A friend of mine who drives truck wanted  me to ask what everyone is hunting in chemult Oregon?  He said it's a small town but wall tents are lined up everywhere!!  He has seen nice bucks on the side of the road, he's not sure what weapon they are using.  Just curious

Masutake mushrooms. Around 15 years ago they were having to much trouble in the campgrounds so they put them in designated camping areas. There are also a lot of buyer tents in town.

I did read something on the mushrooms in the area, that is a lot of mushroom pickers if that's what they are doing.  Thanks for some info either way.

I use to live there. It really gets flooded with the pickers this time of year.
