Stolen True Timber ground blind
« on: September 17, 2015, 11:54:50 PM »
Had a ground blind stolen out of the south end of the Kitsap GMU.  60x60" footprint.  Not expecting much but thought i'd post it.  Cam was aiming at the blind but it was out of trigger range for the sensor.  I do have 2 dogs on it though, so i've been debating on whether or not to post the pics of them in hopes someone could connect me with the owner.  The very last picture with the blind in it has the dogs in it, so my guess is the dog owner took it.  Impossible to prove and really only a theory but a sound theory imo as hrs later in the very next pic there's no blind.

I hate thieves.

Any marks on the blind that we could keep a eye out for?

I take permanent Black marker and write Ghost Camp across my blinds on the outside. I try to buy darker ones.

Someone stole a blind in Capitol Forest last week that was set up for a 13 yr old boy. The same location was used last year without incident, but this year someone created a horse trail through the cut and right passed the blind.

Your should leave a dummy one up, that way it gets stolen not your good one. :stirthepot: :chuckle:

That right, it was not stolen, it was "abandoned"
It the law, after 24 hours it belongs to whoever "finds" it.

I just don't understand why people just don't leave things that do not belong to them alone.
Hope you find it, but considering the attitude of those out there, its either gone, or been broken and thrown in the bushes because it was in someone's way...
