Thanks all. Been looking at various interpretations on the classic as my wife says in general that I mix good drinks but my Long Island's suck. One thing I do differently is to use 1/2 a shot instead of a full one as 5 shots in one erink is a bit too much IMHO. Although I suppose to stay married to me she

needs
5 full shots!

Best one I ever had was in Canada in a bar in penticton. Served it in a pitcher. Oh my.
