300gr Powerbelt Aerolite VS Elk

My dads elk hunt from Sept 16 in Colorado. He hasn't shot an elk in 23 years and was extremely excited over this one.

Yup, there goes that " They bounce off hide" theory I read now and then

Nice! That puts my mind at ease...I love them for the accuracy and precision I get out of them, never hit an elk with one though.  Last whitetail I shot with a 300gr aerolite was at 75 yrds, double lung complete pass through, exit was ~size of a quarter.  Blood trail was excessive.
