I'm jealous. Haven't been able to make it out for the sharptails yet.

Nice pictures.  Background looks soooo North Dakota prairie.  I'll be there in early November for 2 weeks of pheasant hunting.  We don't target sharps because we don't like them so well on the table (like waterfowl, a little bit of the "flying liver" flavor), but I shoot 'em when I can, because I have folks who will take them off my hands.

Been going to ND for 25 years.  Not a better place, IMO.  Love the land, the folks, the access, and the birds.  Wish the oil activity hadn't pushed us out of some of our favorite haunts.  But it's a good things for both the country and the locals.

Thank you. Give me a call or pm me when you are here. Love meeting up for hunts. I love it here. Born and raised. Unfortunately/ kind of fortunately my wife got a new job back in Walla Walla. She is leaving next week, I will be following in about a year, and I will be leaving kicking and screaming. It almost makes me want to cry lol. I personally prefer sharpies to pheasant, for dog work anyway. Ive only found Sharptail to be tasteful the same day as they were shot. After that, I turn them into jerky. As for oil activity, be pleased to know that it it's slowed dramatically and my homeland is slowly turning back into what it once was.
