Fishing sign
« on: September 22, 2015, 08:25:21 AM »
River Road this morning heading toward Puyallup, and I see they have one of those flashing signs up that says River closed Sun thru Weds. What the heck? People can't read the regs, we got to put up signs to tell people when it's closed? Maybe the tribe puts it out there?

Wow I've never seen that. I wonder if they are having issues with people going on closed days? That's what happens when a bunch of non fishermen try to catch some salmon.

I enjoy hitting the river as much as anyone, but people down there who don't know what they are doing drive me crazy!

I believe it... there have been so many out on the river when it's closed or those fishing a closed section. Hint: if you think you lucked out and you're the only one on the river, that means it's probably closed  :chuckle:

Ya, I've called it in a few times this year, tons of guys fishing the lower before it opened, and they said they get multiple calls daily on closed days.

Some of the people fishing can't read the regs.........they probably can't read a flashing sign either.  :twocents:

Nailed it! And considering how many down there can't speak a word of English I would guess they can't read it either.
