Sig Sauer Sig 357
« on: September 24, 2015, 02:30:49 PM »
Has anyone ever owned or shot one ? I just bought a Sig P250 Compact with Siglites. I can't wait to get it.

Thoughts, good and bad ( if there is any bad )
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

IF, the trigger is horrible and if it can be tuned up, I'll have my super good gunsmith help it out. Porter Machine Works is very good at what he does....and he won't rip you off either..

To my knowledge there nothing they can do. The module in it is kinda weird. Once you get used to it then it's not to bad. But if your shooting side by side with another then you might be bothered. There's a ton of owners out there who carry it.

And by no means do I want to discourage you from this firearm. It's a great firearm. It's either you will hate it or love it.  Sig doesn't make crap by any means. There my favorite manufacture.

I had a P250 in 40, as stated the trigger pull is not so good but it didn't bother me to much until after firing a couple mags.

I bought a 229 in 357 Sig back when they first came out, think it was around 94 or 95.  It's a great, hard hitting round and I really like mine.  In fact, next to my P7M8, it's a very close 2nd to my favorite handgun of any that I own.

If you get it also pick up an extra barrel in .40 SW for it.

Took the new girlfriend out for a shoot today. Put 13 rounds down the throat. I like it. Felt really good and snappy compared to my other girlfriends I have. Might keep this one around and carry her proudly...
