light weight game bags?

think I'm going to give those a try this year BLRman, been using the Alaska bags and usually get 2 animals out of a set of bags, for the price they have done well. always bone the meat out. no way I'm packing pillow cases into the backcountry. do you ever see the b.o.m.b bags go on sale?

I got mine on sale last summer and it also happened to be the first time I was even able to find them at all.  They had a bad run last year too and the seams were popping on them.  Luckily mine were good to go.  4 deer and an elk in em and no holes.  They are so light weight you wonder how they can hold weight but they do.  I used to keep my kill kit in a small or medium (can't remember) kifaru pull out but now it fits in their little mini size pullout.  Worth the money for me.

sounds like they would be a space saver and a little tougher, I vacuum sealed my Alaska bags last year and they still seemed bulky, the fly's and bees were so bad last year when we got our elk they better be bomb proof.

B.O.M.B bags hands down if you bone meat out.

Explain to me how they are "hands down" better than the Kifaru meat sacks that are 1oz. and can hold up to 100lbs of boned out meat?

Are the B.O.M.B. bags $24.00 each?  Aren't they larger than 9"x26"?

The ones I got were the B.O.M.B.  kit.  4 larger bags for the boned quarters, two grind meat bags, and a small bag for the tenderloins or something along those lines.  I'd honestly have to dig through my stuff or google it.  I picked em apart and usually only take two quarter bags for a deer hunt or the four quarter bags for elk.  If I was hunting bulls i would take all of them but a boned cow or spike will fit in two or three.  I know what is trim and what is steaks so I don't worry about the grind meat bags.  its all gotta get trimmed up anyways so I just cut on it as it comes out of the bag when I get home.  The whole kit was like $50 I think.  I'd have to look again.

Here they are.  So 4 boned quarter bags and two grind meat bags. Like I said before, a mature boned out buck will fit in two of the quarter bags.  Spike or cow will run you three, maybe four depending on size and a bull will most likely take all the bags.

I think they have but there is also another brand that has popped up.  A buddy ordered a set of brand x so I'll be interested in how they work out.  I haven't gotten to see them yet.  I got mine from Blackovis.
