Definitely TAG bags. Its so nice to be able to fill them up and not worry about the flies, bees, dirt etc.

I like the TAGS BOMB kit.  The cinch closure and reflective tabs are helpful features.  I've fit boned out deer in two bags.  Elk need four.  Will be putting a moose in these bags next weekend if we're lucky.

I carry TAGS as well. Have done 3 deer plus 1 bear with no significant signs of wear and they wash up pretty good.

Cheap King size pillow cases have worked for me for 25 years

 Not the lightest,  but definitely heavy duty and cheep at the goodwill.

King pillow bags but NOW WHAT.  I will have to check these others..I am always looking to save room and or any weight I can in the pack.  I can say an extra large long sleeve will do elk shoulders, one in each arm, knee first foot and lower leg gone, then stretched up and tied if needed

Alaska Game Bag fan here.  Not sure when I started using them, but it must be close to 30 years.  We probably get over 10 uses before buying new ones.  Could probably get even more if I would not use bleach and/or let them air dry.  When space is an issue I place a deer bag inside an elk bag and vacuum seal two sets (4 bags) together.  Always carry one old deer bag to keep my knives, gloves and liver bag in.  That bag doubles as a cape and skull bag.

Found out early on that you can get more use out of a game bag, like the AGB, by placing your used gloves over the leg bone if packing out quarters with the bone in.  That way you don't get the running snags that allow flies to get in.  I don't always use gloves unless there is hoof rot, gut shot or I have a cut.  But I now carry gloves as much for protecting the bags as I do protecting my hands.

I like Alaska bags for the most part, but they let flys in on my bull a couple years ago. I was overstretched and it was rocky, so I know that was a factor, But I was careful and only found one small hole where they were getting in.  I tried CG this year on four critters with good results even overnight. Still going strong. T.A.G Bombs are on my upgrade list to try, as last year I had trouble getting my hands on them.

B.O.M.B bags hands down if you bone meat out.  Ultra light weight and tough.  Killed a good amount of weight and a ton of bulk off my kill kit.

think I'm going to give those a try this year BLRman, been using the Alaska bags and usually get 2 animals out of a set of bags, for the price they have done well. always bone the meat out. no way I'm packing pillow cases into the backcountry. do you ever see the b.o.m.b bags go on sale?

Tags.  Lightweight and strong.  4 elk last year.
