Tree size? and another plan....
« on: January 21, 2009, 08:19:58 PM »
So I keep coming up with different ideas for keeping our cams from pulling a houdini, now I have more questions. I have only tried a cam a few times and am some what fresh to the cam thing. Is there an average to the tree diameter used to hang your cams? I know it pretty much depends on where you are.

It all dependes on what is used to secure your camera. Some are bungies. Some are straps. Some cam be locked in a box and bolted to a tree so it doesn't matter the size of the tree. I made a special platform for mine and use a 15 foot black ratchet strap to secure it to the tree. I haven't found one that it wouldn't work on.
