Eastern Whitetail Muzzleloader
« on: September 12, 2007, 01:33:07 PM »
I have been invited to hunt a private Ranch north of Colville in area 111.  I see that you can kill a cow in105 and 108.  Is there any acess in these two areas?/  If not will try for a bull in 111.  The gentleman says there are about 350 whitetails on the ranch and an occasional elk, but not many.  Oh yes it will be with a muzzleloader

I have a hunting partner who muzz hunts that area a lot. I will convince him to sign up and chime in on your thread.

Well I might as well do my 1st post & quit being a lurker. Actually Wea300Mag  is wrong because I hunt the late Whitetail hunt in GMU 113. I probably won't be able to do this hunt this yr because I'll be doing the Deer/Elk thing in MT & trying to get Wea300Mag a big Muley with his Raffle tag.

The guns are all sighted and we are ready to go.  In talking with the Rancher's grandson, it will be a dream hunt with over 500 animals to choose from for harvest.  Public land surrounds the area also.

Thank You.  I hope to.  Am new to muzzleloader.  But am shooting a 54 cal with 348 grain hollowpoint.  Shot a 2 " group today at 100 yds, so am feeling confident.
