That will definitely be good eating, and lots of it!  Looks like the Barnes did what it was supposed to, lost one petal.  How far was the shot?  Congratulations on a nice animal not many of us get to harvest.

260 yards. The petals didn't worry me. It was the lack of expansion. Like I said it did the job but the lack of expansion was worrisome.

I had similar lack of expansion  on a bear....bear is plenty dead. Congrats to the hunter.

I wouldn't use mule tape it. It is definitely strong enough but doesn't do well burning over logs and rocks and such.
