When you hold a tag in your pocket for 11 1/2 months it takes awhile to tell the story  :chuckle:

As I sat peering over the ledge looking at the hillside I seen nothing for a couple hours. I finally seen the goat in the above pic way off in la-la land and decided to get closer. According to pale face brother this would be fairly decent climb. Several steep miles later I finally reached the area of the goat in question and nothing. ..

He probably had firesticks for lunch and had to stop at every bush on the way up there so he figures he will take just as long to tell the story as it did getting there   :bdid:

I now know pale face brothers (karl) definition of fairly decent means double it and that's the reality and especially when you're part goat part pack mule of course any trail would be "fairly decent". :chuckle:  as I searched and searched I came up with nothing else.  I came back again a couple days later and after reaching the top and circling the top area I spoke with a local who thought it was funny that I went through all that and there's a much closer trail that's not as steep south of where I was at.

After seeing some goats on the southern edge I decided to head back as I wasn't prepared to spike out since if I did venture the spine I'd double the mileage back.

I went back to the 1st area and hunt seen nothing all morning until I decided to just look around the rim of the whole valley. I seen close to 8 billies eating on the tower that Spider-Man himself would probably stop...I could close the distance on this tower but my only hope is if it fell because him dying up there would've meant calling in a helo. :bdid:
