Anarchy Broadheads
« on: September 27, 2015, 12:45:38 PM »
Has anyone tried the anarchy broadheads?  I shot them the other day and they did a number on my block and seemed to fly extreamly accurate.  Just wanted to see if anyone had tried them on game?

That rendering of the single bevel sure makes it look that way, doesn't it! :chuckle:

I've definitely seen worse broadheads!

I shot a few into my block and they tore the crap out of it.  Big chunks of it came out and the arrow was sticking out about 7" on the back side.  It was a new block.  They seem to go in good.  Might be a wicked tip.

I'd rather shoot those than the Toxic Broadheads!

Of course that is setting the bar rather low...

To me I would be trying to figure out why chunks are coming out the back side.  In my frame of view that means there is some sort of adverse friction somewhere I would want to eliminate.

Of course I am not a big fan of right angle trailing edges, super thick blades, two blade heads or single bevels.  But I do agree with Jonathan_S...I'd chose those over a Toxic any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Also, they are manufactured in Oregon.  If the business owners aren't a bunch of tools I always like to support NW companies!  Might be a good option for someone wanting near Rage cutting diameter with a more durable construction.  Price looks pretty darn good too!

But other than that they're perfect  :chuckle:

I have a buddy in Oregon that used them this year and he loved them. Said they flew better then most of the heads he has tried. He use to shoot slick trikes and shuttle ts. He shot a bull and his buck with them this year and the entrance and exit wounds were pretty impressive. I will be trying them this late season on his recommendation. I wish I could get the picture of the elk he shot to work. The exit hole is pretty impressive.
