When is your season?  If you need any help packing, gutting, or whatever don't hesitate to post on the site and ask.

Lots of great tips on the blacktail threads w/in the last few days. 

One I have not seen is to take a step, stop and look into and under the cover with your binoculars.  Repeat, and if you think you are moving slow enough - move half that fast.   BT can be really hard to see sometimes.

Hunt clear cuts early in the morning be sitting in your spot before the sun comes up and hunt clear cuts just before dark.

Don't worry or get discouraged if you're not seeing many (or any) bucks the first weekend.  Most of the bucks are going to be nocturnal until the rut starts.  The last week of October you will want to make sure to be out looking for deer because they will start moving more during daylight hours looking for does.
