Recommended PRO shop for beginner around Bellingham?
« on: September 30, 2015, 06:34:03 PM »
Hi there, I've always wanted to get into bow hunting but never had the schedule to pursue bow hunting until now.  I've been hunting since I was 12 but rifle only.  Can someone recommend a pro shop around the Bellingham area, I don't mind driving an hour or so.  I've heard good things about Riverside Archery in Mt. Vernon, any opinions?

Thanks,

Riverside is great.  Daves in lynden isn't too bad,  by that I mean they have archery stuff and know enough to get a guy going.
Riverside is your best bet. IMHO.

Riverside archery and then go check out Silver Arrow Bowman archery club in Mount Vernon. Flat range and 50 target walk though course. Self service all day shooting $2

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Riverside Archery has earned my business hands down. I will not go anywhere else from now on. They know their stuff, are friendly, get your set up dialed in and are meticulous. If you want to shoot sometime PM me... I live in the 'ham

Thanks man, that sounds fun.  It'll probable be a couple months before I'm all set up, but I'll shoot you a PM when I do.  I have a few weekend modern hunts planned and I go to school and work full time so I'm waiting for some things to die down.

I appreciate the help everyone, I'll check out riverside and that range in Mt. Vernon you mentioned.  The price tag on that is very appealing.

Don't waste your time, no such thing as a pro shop in Bellingham or Whatcom County for that matter. Head down to Riverside in Mt. Vernon. They'll hook you up!!
