Old stomping grounds
« on: October 09, 2015, 06:45:35 AM »
Wanted to get out and check part of w klick. Haven't seriously hunted this area in awhile. By luck of the draw  :chuckle: I have 2 late season tags. Q modern deer and muzzy cow. The deer tag took 10 years. So any way wanted to get familiar again. After a 2 hr drive I found out that all the areas were closed do to fire danger  :bash: So thank full I have 5 more weeks till my opener. Rain baby rain, please. Wanted to stretch the legs on a couple builds as well, that didn't happen either. Ended up going up to the wind unit. Nothing long 195 yds tops. My main shots were 100. Some tweaking needed but not much . Did see quite a few animals along the road of course. Vultures, turkeys, grouse no shots, and deer 4 doe 1 little forky. Hopefully next couple weeks things will change to rain and snow for all the areas that need it  ;)

Good luck!! to all you east siders  :brew:
