Did they sneak that bill into the stimulus bill?

Ok. I'm calling the bluff on this one. I downloaded a version in PDF Format that was over 600 pages long. The first thing I did was a search for "firearm" and it came up empty. I also searched the same term in the web format and it was empty.

Yeah, looks like it is clean as far as that. Man, I was starting to get even more
No time to relax though. I am sure they are still cooking up ways to get around the 2nd Amendment soon enough.

Latest from Guntalk:
http://www.guntalk.com/site51.php
Basically it says that HR 45 is DOA. Click on the link and read the article. The fight is never going to be over but for now I think we can relax for a few minutes.

Here is the link to the whole story on how this bill came to be. I am not justifying the bill, just giving more information. I checked on the status of the bill and it has been stuck in subcommittee for Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security since 2/9/09. Hopefully it will die in that committee.

Something we need to do as firearm owners is drive the point home that even if they ban certain weapons that criminals will still have them, taking our right to protect our selves away will not change this. I guess they never heard of a thing called the black market. criminals wont use a weapon that could be linked to them. I am so sick of this BS.
