By God!  You killed Caitlyn, most of us knew her as Bruce.  The antlers coming off were to be the last step in his/her transformation toward realizing her true self, and now this.

Congrats, an interesting buck/doe indeed!
It probably had male hormones and acted/looked like a normal buck during the rut, and then, obviously had a female reproductive system.
I have to wonder though, how confused this deer was during the past rut seasons, mount or get mounted?
