I'm totally new to this. You know good spots for bear in skagit? I've gone out a couple times up and around Sauk Mt. and the Nat. Forest area east of Mount Vernon, and I've talked to clinsayrun (he got one near Hamilton). I have a TON more looking around to do, but if anybody in this area can help out, or wants to show me a thing or two come August, I'm all ears.
Anybody know if it's better to acces from I-90 or Hwy 18?
kind of odd that you say firearm restricted , cause i have seen people walking in there with guns and my uncle was telling me about a guy that hunts in there for bear , but i heard you have to walk way in there to hunt
LOL, I am one of those Green River Community College students that goes all over Tiger. When I was looking for my section corner and timber typing I saw a bunch of Bear crap. A few other class mates actually saw bears up there.Everyone up there from Green River will most likely be wearing there orange cruisers vest. The classes that do that though are not up there during fall bear season though.Ponyboy are you a DNR cruiser?
