Mineral house shot by Black powder elk hunter
« on: October 04, 2015, 08:03:17 PM »
This afternoon an elk hunter shot at an elk and it hit a house near Mineral.  WSP, Sheriff and WDFW officers were present and working it.  No one was hurt or harmed.

What do you think will happen to the hunter?

I hope they post pictures of the house.  I'd like to see just how much damage would be cause by that big slug.

Thank God no one was injured.

So here is the story...

Window shot and hole through the wall and out side.  It was reported as a muzzleloader hunter shot at his house.   That is what the report which WSP, Sheriff responded...

Sheriff said it was not muzzleloader it was a high power rifle and there was some illegal activity going on at the house and it was most likely a warning shot to the people who live there.  The shooter was not found.

I think (Personal opinion) is a local is tired of the BS and taking care of it him/her self.  If the people of the shot house do not get the hint the next step will be to keep elevating until the right behavior is leaned.  When the cops are 30 min - 40 minutes out that provides a lot of time for some old fashion learning.   :dunno:

From what I heard. It was not a drive by.  It was someone walking to some woods and taking a shot and walking away.
