"Started trapping today" is the name of the thread. There isnt a good picture of the trap. The reason I built it is because I actually caught 2 beaver in muskrat colony traps. They destroyed those traps.
Same thing happened to me. If you have your hunters safety card it will make it faster to clear up. Olympia had to do it for me.
Looks good! Wait until you see what a 50# beaver does to those.

I don't think those doors will stop any adult beaver until you put 1/4" round frame on it. The 56 lb one I got last year had no prob busting the side out of the first cage and then thankfully forgot about that on the next cage down stream.

Price will be way cheaper if you can find an actual industrial steel and metal place. Here in Aberdeen there is Western Steel and their price is much better.
