Cut the glands out they are right at the base of the tail kinda yellow color and put the glands in a film canister or Advil container with holes all throughout it and hang it in the back of your cage with your bait don't know why but cats dig it

For some reason they are attracted don't know why just like skunk gland lure  :dunno:

Sorry if this is a thread jack. How long will a set of mink glands last? Can you grind them up with glycerin to make a paste like you can with beaver castor? Or can you pull the essence out so you can still use it as a lute and not have the actual glands rot?

I use a magic bullet ( EX-WIFES) I blender it up get a tub of Vaseline melt the Vaseline to a liquid mix and let it cool put it in a container with holes ( film canister) and hang in cage it seems to last a long my time but I'm trapping up and n the snow so even my bait stays frozen

looked like I had a butcher hog in my trap, Miss shapen and doors bowed a little bit, but it held :tup:  wish I had a scale! Felt like a ton when I got back to the truck lol

nope not even a bathroom scale. We had a cheap scale for butchering but it seams to have grown legs and walked away. :bash:
