i have 3 cams in the area but I lost my keys to my cams. Can't move them with out bolt cutters. I'm sure my keys are some where but still haven't found them

Nothing in the traps today but I saw 4 cougar today. I'm guessing it's a mom and 3 sub adults but they all looked pretty large. They scattered when I rounded the bend so I didn't get a real good look but from the tracks one is larger that the rest. They had a kill just off the trail 50 yards or so.   a lot of deer seem to be packed in this area right now, I seen at least a dozen today.  We have way too many predators around here!

well I'd consider it no-edible since the cats probably licked it all over lol plus it was their food to begin with.

Funny thing about the deer. I know it was killed the night before due to the new snow. I never found any intestines. Hard to tell in the pic but all the guys were gone except a peace of lung. I saw some deer poop in the rib cage but it looked like all the intestines were eaten stomach everything. Even what the deer had eaten. There was no sign of any guts any where. I circled the whole area. Do you think the cats ate all that too?  I didn't think they would eat the stomach and intestines and everything in them

Found my trail cam keys today. Moved a cam to my cat set over looking the river and put a cam on the cougar kill but I'm not sure if they will be back. They ate just about the whole thing last night. 
Starting to feel a little better today. Weather is warming up and I'm looking forward to the ice breaking up. May move my swim threw over to the otter area tomorrow.

Turkey are starting to trickle in to there spring areas. Saw 7 nice toms today. 3 of them were 9"+. Looking forward to April 15th.

Moved my swim threw to the otter set and moved a raccoon trap up near one of my cat sets. Been seeming coon tracks running down one particular trail so I set right on its edge. Looks to be a good size one.

Nothing today but I found a deer leg on one of the cougar trails so I'm thinking I should have some cat pics on my cam. Will see tomorrow

Been slow around here. Weather is changing quick and everything seems to be changing habits quick too. Getting a little more difficult to find sign.

Just a few coyotes and Some ones lab at the cougar kill. I figured it was slim chances be they had finished eating it.

Nothing at my otter set and no new poo. I moved the swim threw to the main "trail" leading in to the old beaver hut.  It looks like the otter has been pooping on the edge of the hut as well....hmmmm.  We'll see how it goes. Freshened up my lures at the cat set and I'm trying some thing new at one set.   Wolf was near my upper cat set again so I placed a cam on that trail.

Scored a beaver at the hut set. Nice size one. I'll try to get this one weighed

I'm thinking it must have fought the trap pretty hard as it was bowed out Little but it's teeth are broke. Could be an older break
