I can see them not complaining about Copenhagen, rocks and bloody arrows, but Coors light...that could cause outrage! :puke: :chuckle: :chuckle:
He shot a Hoyt and drank Coors......what can I say, you can't pick your family :chuckle:
Awesome shooting on the deer! That was not an easy shot to make. And I'm glad you had time to make that pit stop on the way home!

Put another elk on the board courtesy of the Savora ti-con. I don't go into the woods intending to test the limits of my gear choices when it comes broadhead selection, but this shot did. My execution was good, but my yardage estimation was off by 6 yards or better resulting in a lower hit than my point of aim. Flawless broadhead performance. Insanely good flight on a tight shot, steep quartering shot angle and excellent cutting performance and edge retention after contact. The results speak for themselves.

I hunted 14 days with three weapons on my multi season permit trying to kill a respectable buck.  Passed over a dozen legal bucks.  I said at the beginning of the season that I was going to kill a good 4pt and if not, a meat doe on the last day of the last season.  Couldn't be happier with the season as a whole.  33 yards, quartering away.  Broke the offside leg bone on the way out.  One of the blades is just slightly bent.  Same arrow and broadhead that zipped through my cow last weekend (new blades of course).
That is the old profile of Savora head ...The only thing missing back in the day was the chiseled tip ...To me the chiseled tip makes all the difference in the world ...Good job on the meat doe !!
