49 north bull

super fun hunt. cant believe its over.scouted for four days called in a monster.saw many others.definetly the hunt of a lifetime. called in my bull from a mile away it took him an hour to get to 320yrds. shot him at 6 pm and had him to the truck at 3;30 am.

by the time we found him and got my brother and wife down to him it was pretty dark so not the greatest ground pics. heres what I have.

I had 13 points.Got him up around Calispell. I had three bulls coming in when I got him.You can see all the tamarack needles in his head.

We got back to camp at 5:20 the next morning. it was a long night.Not one bee or fly though so that was nice.

We ran into this bull while scouting he had two cows with him and didn't want us coming any closer.So my brother got out and started raking trees with an old elk shed.Thats all it took he started coming at us grunting and swaying his rack from side to side.He got to about 15 yrds and that was enough for us.
