Idaho whitetails around Thanksgiving

I am going to be taking my kids to Idaho for Thanksgiving and to hunt whitetails.  We hunt up on the Camas prairie, but have never hunted in late November.  I am sure it is weather dependent, but will the deer have moved down into the breaks by then, or will they still be around and hopefully rutted up?
