Don't think so at this point.  The email Bobcat quotes shows that Joe Stohr knows enough to take it to a phone call from email, so as to not be subjected to public records request...

A later summary of the WSP investigation by Stohr uses as much lawyer-speak as you could imagine to deflect responsibility from Cenci, after which he offers his suggestions for addressing the few issues that he couldn't talk his way out of.  All of which is lacking direct accountability and absolutely no punitive measures.

Unsworth agreed with Stohr's assessment and suggestions.  He then instructed them to make a plan to implement - but required no personal review of the plan prior to implementation, no followup and no reporting.

It looks like Cenci is about to get away with everything to me, unless the pressure is ratcheted up a few notches by people like us.

There are THOUSANDS of people on this site who have still not written a letter or submitted a comment... hope they get in gear soon.  For all of our sakes.  LEO's that lack integrity are the worst possible thing out there, and IMHO we are dealing with more than a few of them in the WDFW Enforcement division.

Looks like cenci Will finally be stripped of his power😄

I haven't seen any evidence that anyone will be stripped of their powers, or even disciplined in any fashion at all.

Thank you very much Skillet for those comments.  There are a lot of fine officers in WDFW, who just want to do their jobs to the best of their abilities, free of all of this.  They and I appreciate all of the support, even if there is little hope at this point.

Yes, he won and has been reinstated with back-pay and benefits.  I will post the arbitration ruling on www.wdfwinvestigation.com within the next day or two.

It is awesome, but remember that WDFW has lost a bunch of great officers in the last couple of years, and they aren't coming back.

Washington Fish and game have a Facebook page, there is one now that talks about the past year.  I think we should inidate every post they put up with calls for Unsworth to do his job and make things right in the Wdfw, like get rid of Cenci and others like him.  The Wdfw sees all the post and have in the past responded to my rants.  Let them have it on Facebook, lots of the public sees the post. Just an idea, I don't want to be the only guy never drawing a special permit again!!!

I think the Facebook idea is a really good one.  This is one time I kind of wish I had a Facebook acct.  Maybe my wife will let me post with her account?
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

"Again"?  :chuckle:

Great idea trophyhunt.  I don't FB, but those that do could light that page up pretty well I bet.

You make a good point though - I wonder if people are afraid of repercussions for standing up and making themselves heard?  Think about that for a second... somebody not saying something because they're afraid of the fallout is exactly what these scandalous *censored*s want.  That  is why a dirty cop is the absolute worst - and why we should not be putting up with it on any level. The more people that get involved, the less chance that any one person is singled out for retribution.

Here is an email I just sent to the WDFW Commission:

Please forward this email on to each and every commissioner:

It has now been a full year since you appointed Jim Unsworth to director of WDFW.  I know all of you are somewhat aware of the significant issues within the enforcement program, in particular the administration of that program, but I doubt you have heard from both sides of the issue.  Before you throw your hands up and declare that internal personnel issues are none of your business, let me point out a few things;

It seems Jim Unsworth has only two supervisors; the commission and the governor, with you commissioners being his first-line supervisor(s).  That makes how Director Unsworth runs the agency (or doesn't run the agency) your business.  When employees feel they have no chance of relief from bullying and corruption within their direct chain-of-command in WDFW, they have looked to the director for help.  When the director drops the ball and does nothing, then suddenly the "internal personnel issues" become your problem.  Who else do these fine officers go to, if nobody in the agency will listen?

I know, from emails I have received as a result of PDR's, you have all received the summary reports from the WSP investigation, and I also know that at least one commissioner has asked to be "kept in the loop" regarding the investigation of allegations against enforcement staff.

You may not know the deputy director limited the scope of the WSP investigation, so that almost none of the recent (fresh) allegations were to be investigated, then in his summary he seems to dismiss some of the inappropriate behavior as old (stale).  The reports showed a great deal of older/stale allegations, because that is what the deputy director limited the investigators to.

If you want to read the documents which paint an accurate portrayal of what is going on within the agency you manage, take a look at:  www.wdfwinvestigation.com a website full of documents obtained from WDFW by way of PDR's.

Director Unsworth has been in place for an entire year, yet has failed to take any noticeable actions to rectify the severe issues in enforcement, and as a result things just keep getting worse.  The ball is now in your court to make things right, and get the agency back on track.
