Okay everyone, this will be one of the most critical reports you will find on www.wdfwinvestigation.com, go to the section titled "New Material- Hot off the press", then click on "Officer Jones Termination Hearing- Final Ruling".

This is an independent arbitrator's view of WDFW enforcement, and he doesn't hold back.  It is obvious he saw through the lies.

The link doesn't work for me.

Try going to http://www.wdfwinvestigation.com/new-material--hot-off-the-press.html then clicking on the "Officer Jones Termination Hearing" link.  Please let me know if it still doesn't work.

It's probably the other link that he was having issues with. The one that says "This will make you wonder what happened and who is running WDFW"

I was able to open it by downloading it to my computer and then giving the file a .docx extension.  Those of us with older versions of word need to add the extension so word knows to convert the file so it can be read.

The other link goes to a file that has a .doc file extension and it seems to work fine. :twocents:

WOW!  Scathing rebuke of the administration and their attempt to paint Jones as a criminal.  I would be surprised if there were civil action taken against WDFW and Chief Bjork for sending this to the Sheriff rather than following their own procedures.   Just shameful to see a good officer treated this way, and the vindictive way it was done.  Shameful!

Even more shameful that nothing is being done to stop exactly that kind of behavior.

I wouldn't be too hasty on that, given the nature of the rebuke implied by this report, Unsworth may just do something at last.  That plus the email thread you posted where he was asking about Censie being removed from supervisory responsibilities leads me to think maybe it is just a case of the new guy not immediately taking the sides against his team without time to get to know the lay of the land and figuring out just which side of the discussion was lying.  Now he has some proof/just cause to start cleaning house.  My fingers are crossed.  I would sure hate it if a new boss came in and fired half the management just on the (justifiably) angry voices of a few field employees.  If I was him, I'd have waited to see what shakes out from the firing of the guy who was the most vocal (David Jones).

+1. That's my perspective. He doesn't need another wrongful termination mess. I think he is lining up his ducks and then will act.

UCW, I did have a question about the Bjork(s) in the reports... sometimes it is Chief Bjork sometimes it is Captain.  Did he get demoted or are there two Bjorks?

By the way, it looks like a bunch of folks, yourself included, retired recently, some of them involved in the termination.  Would the lack of official access to these folks have been part of the delay?  It seems like from the testimony that some of them wouldn't / didn't / couldn't provide any testimony.

I hope you guys are right, but the reviews (with suggestions on how to handle this) of the WSP reports written by Stohr sure makes it sound like nobody is going anywhere.

Nope; only one Bjork and he was always the chief (came into the agency, from WSP, as chief).

I don't think any part of this delay is due to having a tough time finding us retired folks.  Most of us were chomping at the bit to be interviewed.

I hope so too. This black cloud hanging over WDFW needs to go away for everyone's sake (except Cenci and Crown.)

Must be typos by someone cause Bjork changed rank a few times during the testimony and the final report :)  As far as access, I wondered if officially this was an internal labor dispute, not sure if the CBA or WDFW rules allow non-employee's to testify at an internal inquiry?

Numerous non-employees were asked to testify.  Most did so...

That makes it more telling that Bjork didn't testify

Check out what two different Captains and a Lieutenant had to say about Deputy Chief Cenci;
