Has the meeting to reassign Cenci happened, sorry if I missed it.  I have witnessed this behavior in other regions.

It appears from the date on the email that no, nothing has happened on reassignment. Conversations on the matter went offline and were conducted via phone or in person. If anything I think that it was stated he has actually gained more supervision responsibilities as prior. I think he is now in charge of land agents as well.

If unsworth does not respond to the Jones hearing documents from an impartial arbitration judge, he is just as evil and crooked as all those mentioned in that report.

Would it hurt to attach these excerpts to our e-mails to the director or anyone else? It seems like it would put more pressure on the director if he knew the public had this testimony in front of them.

As far as I know, nothing ever happened at all, but I don't know why not.

I am pretty sure they already know about every word on this forum, and monitor it and the www.wdfwinvestigation.com website.  But feel free to attach the testimony if you think it will help.

+1. That's my perspective. He doesn't need another wrongful termination mess. I think he is lining up his ducks and then will act.

I hope you guys are right, but the reviews (with suggestions on how to handle this) of the WSP reports written by Stohr sure makes it sound like nobody is going anywhere.
I hope so too. This black cloud hanging over WDFW needs to go away for everyone's sake (except Cenci and Crown.)
:yeah:
Hope it goes soon and Unsworth is working a permanent fix.

He has been in place, and aware of the problems, for a year now and hasn't fixed a thing.  I don't know why he would start fixing things now.

WDFW Officer Dave Jones (Bellingham) was just awarded his job back, as a result of winning his termination arbitration hearing.  He gets back-pay, and should start back with WDFW around the end of January!

Another major expense, for all of us, caused by poor management of enforcement.
This is fantastic news for Whatcom Co.! Very happy for Dave!

Did Unsworth have to concur for officer Jones to be fired?

No, Dave was fired well before (almost a year before) Unsworth came to Washington.  Dave has been on terminated status for about 2 years, waiting for his appeal hearing.

Unreal that Cenci can keep his job with all of this on the record.

Truly disgusting.

And Mr. Unsworth has had a year?     That is equally disappointing.

I have resigned my Hunter Education Instructor  position and I will not purchase another hunting or fishing license in this state until this mess is resolved.

At least Officer Jones is back on the payroll and he is someone I really respect unlike the clowns at the top of the WDFW disorganization.

I take it the documents were enlightening?  With these documents, everyone can now see why the enforcement program is so divided, some support the administration and some don't.  Both sides feel very strongly.
