UC,
I'd like to see Kim Chandler's interview transcript added to your site. Especially due to the whole "boot up your ass" comment from Cenci directed towards him....

Your wish is my command.  I just posted it, and it will make you sick.

All I can say is wow... Hopefully the Director appreciates Sgt Chandler's statement, and the guts it took to go on record with the bs. One doesn't get 40 years in without knowing when to pick you battles.

You can tell, just by reading Kim's testimony, just how bad things have gotten.

It appears this has gone on long enough and our Director needs to be directed to the door if he can't get his dept in order.

I am beginning to agree with that argument.

Need a little help on that page of yours UC.  You need to find someone who does web pages (probably someone on this site) who can make it look much more streamline and legit.

The content is there, but it appears sketchy due to appearance.   :twocents:

I'd also add a link to the WDFW webpage where they ask for input.  Allow them to use the WDFW site for comments.  :twocents:

I am at the limit of my internet abilities, so if someone on here knows website building, inside-out, I would appreciate the help.

Sounds like some WDFW LEO are a danger to the public, especially out in the woods, where there are no witnesses. So, what exactly is the protection afforded to any member of the public who chooses to speak up? Looks like little or none. Also, are there sports end groups, particularly salmon interest, that are assisting in a PR campaign on WDFW/Cenci's behalf?

Don't forget guys, Wdfw has a Facebook page, you can go on and make comments about this situation.  We don't have to cus and swear but just let them know we are paying attention to what's going on.

I am not sure where you even came up with that assessment, but there is certainly no reason to be concerned for your safety from WDFW officers.  While there are certainly more than a fair share of problems in WDFW, physical violence is not one of them.
So no matter where you came up with that idea, you couldn't be further from the truth.  Even those in administration, who I detest, would not be a threat to you or other members of the public, and in-fact would all risk their lives to protect you. So relax; you don't have a force of psycho-killers in uniform out there in the woods, waiting to pounce on you.

I see you're very new to the forum and are probably unfamiliar with this thread and investigation. You need to read more of this thread and Operation Cody, as well as the links provided by ucwarden which detail specific areas of the investigation(s).

The officers in the field are doing their jobs well and regardless of how someone may feel about how they've been treated by individual enforcement officers in a specific situation, I know of no incidents which would cause me to feel that "some WDFW LEO are a danger to the public". This is about senior management running amok and how they negatively affect those LEOs in the field and undermines their efforts in protecting our resources.

Oh Geez, here we go again.  Just another tool to make you think something is going to happen.  How many combined years of education and experience in an agency like WDFW and they need to ask what needs to get done?  Therein lies the problem.  We're supposed to lead, and manage in conjunction with the public's awareness and support.

Give you an example.  When I went to work for the old Dept. of Game in the early 70's, the Wildlife Area Program was in a planning stage.  It has been in a continual one since then.  Just different buzz words to make the public think something positive is happening.  The plans, which are drawn up every 5-8 years never get implemented.  They just repackaged the effort in catchy new terminology and do it all over again.  Look at us, we're doing something for you all.  WDFW's Wildlife Areas are custodial at best.....fact.  If WDFW was serious, they would be showcases of wildlife management principals.  Want an easier to visualize example.  Check out the average WDFW access site. Bare bones minimal effort.  For crying out loud, that's the first thing people who use those sites visually connect with when they evaluate how WDFW is spending their license money.

Sorry to rant..............these announcements are like a broken record with a scratchy chalkboard thrown in as background music.  It's become part of WDFW's DNA.
