3 point spike
«

Had this little dude on my cams this year, saw him again Saturday all cleaned off. I believe he is legal, and quite possibly the world record smallest 3 point.
Would love to see what he turns into in a couple years if someone does not shoot him during modern.

The only person that might shoot him during modern is you, as I highly doubt they'll have the time to study his points like you have had.

Only time will tell what he turns into, I would say that deer is too small to shoot. I wouldn't call one of those points an inch. Too close to call, letting him walk either way. Cool picture though and thanks for sharing.

Is it something strange in the water over there in your area, Nock? First you kill the he/she deer and now you have pics of this "3 point".

Got one other odd one on the same cam, typical 4 on one side, and a small knob on the other. Weird year for sure.

Excellent pics. How did you get him to pose for the camera?

What are they spraying those fruit trees with over there?
How close to the sewage treatment plant is he?
Hope he makes it four or five years, at least. Could become something special!

I think I am a freak magnet,
Goofy moose last year, he/she deer this year, also got several elk with bizarre antlers on cams this year.

Could be a really cool looking rack in a couple years for sure. Should keep this post updated with progress in the years to come if it's a place you always put a cam up.

Hope to, but he has been hanging pretty close to a road. My guess is a modern hunter will take him. A lot of guys really try to grow a third point on an animal. If they look hard at him they'll find it
