Elkterd said he drew a goat tag. I offered to take him scouting on horseback all summer. Never heard back about a trip. Have you gone? Did you score?

He has been swamped with getting a house built and getting moved. He will be getting up there in a couple weeks. I hope the weather holds

Headed over to my goat unit Friday morning, finally the day is almost here, have a group of good friends that are as excited as me to go do this, I am sure that if all else fails we will have an excellent time regardless. Will post up as the saga unfolds!

So, today's update met with my buddy last night getting gear into trailer, last minute preps coming together, ( pouring sidewalks, steps etc. at the house)
taking daughter out deer hunting tonight ( she has passed on three legal bucks so far?
??) picky young lady, we have five guys descending on the unit Friday into various areas to help me locate a Goat ( Thanks in advance to all the help to this point) our plan is to hit it hard for three days and see what transpires and go from there.................Follow up to this saga in next posts...........
