Firearms are illegal in many areas but I'd find it hard to believe that shooting a bow safely within the city limits would be illegal.

Depends on where you live.  A lot of cities have ordinances that consider bows a dangerous weapon and make it unlawful to shoot them.

Lucky Shot on Coal Creek Rd in Chehalis. Awesome place, awesome people!  It's the only bow shop I go to anymore.

Capital city bowmen/capital city rifle and pistol have a pretty nice range and isnt too far from olympia.

Lucky shot is a little further but is nicer and you don't have to be a member.

get your own target and take it out to capitol forest to shoot. I stopped shooting in the yard after my neighbor behind me sent an arrow into my yard and hit my patio door. Since he elected not to shoot in the yards I am doing the same. Find a nice dirt bank to put target against and step off some distances.

I did not read througout the entire thread, but, I beleive JBLM (both McChord A.F. and Fort Lewis) have Archery Ranges.  I think you could also just go up to Capitol Forest and set up a makeshift site. Heck a lot of people just go up there and shoot their pistols, I think.
