Set up a ground blind on your side, with a camera in it.
Perhaps that is the only/best tree in the area?Maybe they are shooting parallel to the fence line? I know I don't set my stand squared up in the direction I most likely will shoot.
I always was under the impression if a sign says no hunting, that means no one can hunt not even the property owner technically? Am I wrong? Unless further down on that sign it says something about needing permission.
The part you missed is 'better not be crossing the fence" which is trespassing. And I would never 'whoop' but but I would call the game warden. That is not an empty threat. If he wants to set his blind in a super inconvenient place for him that is his business as long as he doesn't trespass. The other part you are missing is just the arrogance of it... they have aggressively posted their land, in a place where the only people will see it us while hunting. This fence line is not accessible or visible from any road. So the signs are for us, no one hunting this land has ever trespassed on their land as far back as I can remember which would be at least 12 years of hunting out there and predating any of the signs being posted. Meanwhile they set their stand to shoot on to my cousins property. If the strategy is to shoot deer jumping the fence they are missing the two main trails with this stand placement. I can't think of any reason to have a stand here except to shoot deer on property they don't have permission to access while they post the heck out of their land.
could plant the fenceline with poplars
What is up with all of the empty threats on this forum? "I better not catch you doing this" "I would whoop your butt" etcetera. If the landowner setup that blind on his property then he isn't doing anything wrong. Heck he could setup a blind right against the fence line and still be fine... however, maybe I am missing something. What exactly is there to complain about where his stand is? Is it next to your property?
Guess Im confused. The stand is on his own property. Who cares if he his hunting a fence line. Nothing illegal about it. Maybe its a natural deer route. Until the property owner does something wrong I don't see an issue. Parking trucks, blasting music to annoy or otherwise aggravate.....I don't get it.
Well, one thing your missing. You don't know what his view looks like. Could look totally different than what your used to looking at. How long has he owned the land? BROThers a great point about stand placement. It ain't no thing to shoot a rifle sideways. What was the meaning of the original post? To vent, call someone you know out? If he trespasses fine, that's an issue maybe. But to rant about some crime that may happen, sometime, somewhere, somehow, before it even happens, is just a bunch of bluster.

As far as the responses urging petty tit for tat aggravation, that's chicken S. Pretty manly stuff. And incredibly logical. Lol
Well, do your best to tip one over. Twas I, I'd make friends with him. Maybe you guys could hunt each other's land. Good luck bro.
