First year on our own property and next to the National Forest. Have some deer that like to wander through. I'm too pregnant to get far into the woods right now, so we're setting up close to home. Don't expect we'll see anything, but gotta get out somehow!

Next year looking to set up our own feed plot, game camera, and *maybe* quasi-permanent blind. Waited years for this opportunity!  :IBCOOL:

Hunt Deer on the West Side. This is only because hunting East side would make scouting kinda impossible. I completely don't like the west side for Deer hunting.

Drive East for Duck hunting, since I already have spots to hunt... Potholes FTW!

I'm looking forward to jungle-thick brush and hunting in a downpour.
 :yike:

At least on the west side you can count on that. Maybe nothing else, but that is for sure.

Skunked.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
