« on: October 17, 2015, 07:01:08 PM »
I talked to two guys who are gonna go after a few legal bucks but where they hang out is all private, also is there a reward for turning them in?

It's trespass. If you're sure they don't have permission you could report them.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I know the one guy for sure could careless about getting permission so it's highly unlikely.

Get a couple of slob hunters out of the gene pool for awhile and don't worry about a reward.

Penalties got worse a couple years ago, couldn't remember the exact details. Did a quick google and found this: "A penalty of up to 90 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. In addition, upon conviction, the Department will revoke your hunting licenses and suspend your hunting privileges for two years. Any animal harvested or retrieved in violation of the section will be forfeited to WDFW."

Don't think it's a reward so much unless they're poaching too? Heard you can sometimes get "points" for help catching poachers.

Is it property owners who have to pursue charges?

Well right now I'm as guilty as them lol, the road goes through all this private property but at the end is a green dot road.I had two 3x3's 50 yards from my truck this morning but passed, also the big portion of private land has a sign saying "private property-stay on roads, don't build fires and use at your own risk" does that mean you can hunt?

I would suggest, next year, buy a onXmaps and know exactly, who, what and where. I have them and they work great..

So you're looking for money for turning THEM in... But you're just as guilty as them? I'd send all three of you geniuses to the pokey if you were on my land with an A$$ kicking to boot! Hipocrat.
THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE HOLDING DEER IN PICTURES...
AND LESS PEOPLE HOLDING CAMERAS IN FRONT OF BATHROOM MIRRORS.

If you could read and understand what I said you would see they haven't shot anything and I go down the road to the green dot road which is dnr land so read again before opening your mouth.Campmeat I use the county assesor map online it works pretty good.

Your post is very confusing at best.  Sounds like you know and possibly hunt with the two that are considering shooting bucks on private land......and you want us to tell you to turn them in.  Man up and tell the guys if they break the law you will turn them in, then follow through wiith it if they do.  Kind of sounds like you thought about shooting them also????   If I am wrong in what I read and how I interpreted it....please feel free to elaborate with the entire story.
