Shot 15 minutes after daylight with its nose up a does butt!
Does it seem that the rut is coming on already? One of the pics he stated the buck was sniffing a doe and another guy said he seen a buck with a few does. That tells me the rut is here or close, what do you guys think?
Nice Buck! There are some very old bucks in North Bend area that never get bigger than a 2 pt, you can tell that boy is a old mature animal

They are not "that" common where I hunt, but there are usually a couple hanging around if I really go looking for them. One year I am going to have one mounted, I think they are great looking especially when they lack brow tines.

I was only able to spot front bottom teeth that were pretty loose. If anyone has any other suggestions on aging a deer I would like to know.
Dropped this guy yesterday at 2pm to while my buddy was gutting his deer. It was a tough 10 foot shot.
