Here is one my hunting partner got today.
The story goes, drive into clear cut ,shoot big buck, gut him, drag down hill, put deer in truck, head to the house,it's that simple. Sometimes
HOW IN THE HECK DO U EXSPECT ME TO WORK ALL WEEK SHOWING ME THAT ....

Exactly my thoughts JB. I just put for four days of vacation because of this buck! Lol.

My favorite part of the story "drives INTO clearcut, shoots monster blacktail, drags it DOWNHILL, heads back home.."

Some guys have all the luck.

This may sound mean on my part !! I know you guys want a big buck but one thing I hope for is that is stays foggy all week !!!  HAHAHA   It will save a lot of rutting bucks until I can get back out there with my wife .. I am sure hoping see can spank a nice one ..she has improved dramatically this year .. she can spot them better and she sure knows how to run her rifle ...good luck to the rest of you !!  I really hope we can put a few more pigs on this thread !!   Shoot straight and be safe !!

This is awesome! Nice work! Maybe you drove past one of the guys in the "Fustrated with Lazy Hunters" thread and this is why they are complaining lol.

Great work and love the story lol

Found one I wanted tonight. 426 yards. Had to wait for the 3 pt that I was gonna shoot to stand up and start fighting with this guy. Waited over an hour with crosshairs on the tree he was behind. This 4 was bedded behind some Doug firs and I couldn't see him until the 3 pissed him off. They got done sparring and he turned around made it out of the firs and I dropped the hammer. Nicer than I expected. Good buddy came and helped quarter, cape, and pack out to the truck. I'd still be there packing if it wasn't for him. Now next week it's time for the wife to lay one down!

For me every deer is a blessing! I was more than happy to put this one down and in the freezer. I was returning from the timber back to a logging road and he was watching from inside the timber on the other side. You ever have the feeling you were being watched? it was quartering to me steeply, took kind of a front and down shot. I found a spray of blood at the impact site but nothing around. Those TSXs don't hardly put any blood on the ground but they sure do kill them dead. Found him about 15y away exploded heart and shattered scapula.
